We keep this simple. seoptist.com uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. This page lists everything the website stores in your browser and why, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

Essential storage

  • seoptist_consent (localStorage): remembers whether you chose “Essential only” or “Accept” on the cookie banner. Kept until you clear it.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: when the free check form is protected by Turnstile, Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie to verify you are human. This is strictly necessary to protect the form from abuse.
  • app.seoptist.com session cookies: when you log in to the application, a secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in.

Analytics (only with your consent)

If you click “Accept”, we load Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that does not use cookies and does not store personal data or IP addresses. It tells us which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from, in aggregate. If you click “Essential only”, nothing analytics-related is loaded.
